The Quantum Technology FabLab (QuFabLab) is one of the competition winners as part of the BMBF funding program Quantum Futur Education - Network of interdisciplinary education and training concepts in quantum technologies.
Focus of the project
The project focuses on 2nd generation quantum sensors. This new type of "disruptive\" type of sensors make targeted use of the quantum mechanical effects of individual or a few particles or their states.
Applications
For example, nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond can be used for high-precision measurement of magnetic fields.
Project offers
Offers are created for companies, researchers and young scientists to raise awareness of the potential of quantum sensors and to impart quantum skills.
